Bloom - a Result - to meet a flower
And casually glance
Would scarcely cause one to suspect
the minor Circumstance

Assisting in the Bright Affair
So intricately done
Then offered as a Butterfly
To the Meridian

To pack the Bud - oppose the Worm-
Obtain its right of Dew
Adjust the Heat - ellude the Wind -
Escape the prowling bee

Great Nature not to disappoint
Awaiting Her that Day
To be a Flower, is profound

Emily Dickinson

Thank you for visiting my offerings this month.  I wish you a wonderful start to Summer.

Pin Cushions

Here are a couple of sweet pin cushions I made.

Queen Bee

The Bee is appliqued on wool and striped with beads.  Her wings are a piece of vintage lace and it is sewed on with an old button from my button box.  The back is made from a piece of old blue velveteen I had in my scrap bag. The top is a brownish tan wool but doesn't show in the pictures very well.  On my screen it looks blueish, but it's not.  Bee cushion measures approx 3.5" square.

June Flowers cushion

Hand embroidered and stuffed with scraps.  I grunged it quite a bit as you can see.   Measures approx 3" square.

Kindly asking $12 each plus travel fare.   Sale pending for the embroidered pin cushion.  Thank you, Nancy!
Vase covers / Diddy bags

These little covers can make a big impact on your table.  There's a pattern to like for just about everyone.

They hold a 9" tall vase perfectly.  Of course if you can also use it as a carry bag for sewing, travel etc.  They are made of premium cotton, most of 1800's repro fabrics,  They are lined and have drawstring ties.   I can make one of colors of your choice and/or I can grunge these if you prefer.

Kindly asking $23 each plus travel fare.
Vintage Sewing Box

Very nice sewing box that I found at a flea market covered with Roses, my favorite flower.  Outside is covered with a cotton type fabric, gathered around the base and the rim.  It is in great condition. Inside fabric is a dark dusty blue and is in great condition with only some fading to the inside cover rim, adding to it's charm.  A couple of old semi-rusted needles are left in place as I found it.

Box measures approximately 6.5" in diameter at the widest gathered edge.
Kindly asking $15 plus travel fare.
